Who we are

Ascendra-X (“Ascendra-X”, “we”, “us”) is a B2B demand generation company that runs account research, data enrichment, multi-channel outreach, and lead delivery programs for revenue teams. This policy explains how we collect and process personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or interact with campaigns we operate on behalf of our clients.

For privacy questions, contact us at dpo@ascendra-x.com.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data we process as a controller, such as visitors to our website and people who contact us directly. When we run campaigns for clients, our clients are generally the controllers of the personal data we process on their behalf, and we act as a processor under their instructions and agreements.

Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with Ascendra-X, we may collect:

  • Business contact information such as name, job title, employer, business email, business phone, and LinkedIn profile URL.
  • Account and firmographic data such as industry, company size, geography, and publicly available technology signals used for ICP and segmentation work.
  • Communications you send us, including emails, form submissions, call notes, and meeting requests.
  • Website usage data such as IP address, device and browser metadata, referrer, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Campaign engagement data such as email opens, clicks, replies, call dispositions, and event registrations, collected when you interact with outreach we operate on behalf of a client.

How we use data

  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • Respond to inquiries, deliver proposals, and manage client relationships.
  • Build, enrich, verify, and quality-check target lists for client campaigns under their instructions.
  • Run multi-touch outreach across email, telephone, LinkedIn, and content channels for our clients, with suppression and consent rules applied.
  • Report on campaign performance, lead quality, and pipeline outcomes.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect Ascendra-X, our clients, and the public from fraud or abuse.

Lawful bases

Where applicable laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR require a lawful basis, we typically rely on:

  • Legitimate interests in operating B2B demand generation and outreach to relevant business audiences, balanced against the rights of individuals.
  • Consent where we collect it for cookies, newsletters, or specific marketing channels that require it.
  • Contract where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you or your employer.
  • Legal obligation where we must process data to comply with applicable law.

Sharing and sub-processors

We may share personal data with:

  • Clients for whom we operate campaigns, in the form of qualified leads, attendee lists, or campaign reports.
  • Service providers that support our operations, including hosting, CRM, email infrastructure, data enrichment, telephony, analytics, and security tooling.
  • Professional advisors such as auditors and lawyers where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

Sub-processors are bound by written agreements that include confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this policy.

International transfers

We operate globally and may transfer personal data across borders, including to and from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, India, and the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, to comply with legal and contractual obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Campaign data we process on behalf of clients is retained according to their instructions and our agreement with them.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact dpo@ascendra-x.com. If your data is processed by us on behalf of a client, we will route your request to the appropriate controller.

Children’s data

Our services are intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, vendor due diligence, and least-access principles for campaign data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
